To start the day I had a few emails that needed catching upon. Teddy Romas sent out the new sponsorship media deck. I was instructed to send this out to all the companies I had gathered as part of the vendor village project. This media deck included specific information in which potential vendors would need. Today I also followed up with what appears to be a fantastic catering option for the NorCal camp. As we exchanged emails they would send over sample menus. After going back and forth with Handheld catering I began to get them to work within our price range. Chris helped me through this bartering experience which turned out to be a fantastic learning experience. He also noticed that I had the counts slightly off which I soon corrected to get an accurate cost. As a team, we had also made good progress today ticking off the coach's social venue for the Southwest camp in Dallas. The Fillmore pub was able to seat a large part of over 40 coaches. Were able to provide 2 or more servers for the party. And are able to do a pre-set menu within our price range per coach. To conclude today's journal entry, we are starting the pickup momentum now heading into the busy end of the summer for the company. We are well organized and aware of each team member's tasks. I’m looking forward to seeing if the new media deck attracts some potential vendors. The vendor village project has been the most difficult so far for us with little progress.
