Day Twelve - 6/9

Today I continued completing research for all operations needs for all of the summer camps. This included yoga instructors, shuttle companies, both lunch and dinner catering options. I would also make a start looking at venues for the coaches' social. This happens on day 2. EXACT Sports will hire out a section in a restaurant/bar with a set menu and a free bar tab for the coaches that work the camps. There is usually around 30-40 collegiate college hired for each of the camps. So it is important to find a space large enough to host a party of this size. For now, I would gather all research, also considering historic contacts and leads in the past. The biggest thing I have learned so far throughout my time working for EXACT Sports is organization. A separate tab found in the catering spreadsheet would be specifically for the “coaches social” event. It is here where I will gather my research continuing to color code it for the organization. At this moment I feel like myself and Lisa are working very well together. As my fellow intern, we are constantly in communication asking each other how they are progressing. This regular communication allows us to both share the workload. We can see what needs to be done via the OPS spreadsheet. But before starting a particular task we will communicate to make sure as a team we are working efficiently. With the research mostly complete I spent the last hour today planning what is next. This includes gathering all initial email templates I would need to start firing them.
