Working remotely from home can come with its challenges. But luckily I would consider myself a pretty self-motivated person. I am beginning to get myself into a schedule and after working for Rudy and Tiffin Men’s Soccer, I typically stay in my office to work on my tasks for EXACT Sports. This is a good environment for me to stay on track and not get distracted. It has been interesting getting used to some of the programs and different software we are using. But this is all a good experience for future reference. The regular zoom/google meetings come with communication challenges, but the company does a very good job in terms of organization. Today I am diving deeper into the “vendor Village” project in which I have decided to spend a few hours researching the Mid-Atlantic (Bel Air, MD) area. In comparison to the SoCal location. This seems to be more difficult to find companies that would be good options as vendors for our camps. However, I continued to dive through the depths of the internet to find local and global companies around the area. It is my duty to communicate with the rest of the operations team. We created a group chat to make this process efficient so that we are all on the same page. At times I would refer back to previous historical leads in that area to help with specific ideas of business around the Bel Air, MD area. My Plans throughout the rest of the week are to continue working on research before sending out initial emails.
