In the build-up to starting this internship, I felt slightly nervous and anxious. I was familiar with EXACT Sports as in the past I had coached at their smaller camps before. In the build-up to start date, the company would regularly send emails keeping all interns well connected. Day one was an opportunity to connect with my fellow interns. They set a task introductory task with was to create an eye-catching “about me” page. I used google slides, a program with which I am very familiar. From here we were matched up with a fellow intern. We traded each other’s “about me” profiles to learn more about each other. The second part of the task was then to record an interview between myself and the other intern (her name is Lisa). Using google meet we interviewed each other asking questions to get to know each other on a better level. At this moment I realized she was also part of the operations team and I would be working closely with Lisa throughout the internship. We were instructed to upload our video to a website called Trello. This is a platform in which the company used to set tasks and mainly organize work throughout departments within EXACT.
