Day Nine - 6/4

It is Friday and to conclude the week I wanted to make a start on ticking off all the operations needs for the 7 Summer camps EXACT Sports is hosting. Chris has made a google document with a color-coded checklist of all the things that needed to be confirmed with deadlines. Starting with each of the camp locations and its dates. Sections would be as followed: At camp catering, post-camp catering, coaches social, shuttle, yoga, meeting, audio, ice, golf cart, cooling, and portable restrooms. Each had a specific dropbox in which once something was confirmed, it would turn green. This lay was not only very organized but I found it very rewarding knowing over the next few weeks, as a team, we are looking to make all of this green. For each of the specific needs for example “yoga instructors” there would be a different google doc which was used to gather research. By the last day of camp, the kids are starting to feel fatigued. EXACT Sports hires a local yoga instructor to lead an introductory yoga session designed for recovery and relaxation. In the past, this has been a great feature of the camp, something that EXACT Sports competitors are not doing. It is my job to begin communicating with local yoga instructors. Including both historical contacts and new leads. I was sent an initial contact email draft in which I would change slightly. Today I gather research for the Socal, Atlanta, Mid-Atlantic, Connecticut, Dallas, and Norcal camps.
