Day Eight - 6/3

Today, I moved on from vendor village research in the Morgan Hill. CA (Norcal) area. I began looking at my final designated area of North Branford, CT (Northeast). Through my time researching business in this area. I felt like there weren’t as many options as the other locations I was given. Therefore today I got as much done as possible, before starting to send initial emails to potential vendors. EXACT Sports sent me a draft of exactly what to say. This was another timely task but I would try to be as efficient as I possibly could by blind copying the email to multiple companies at once. To reflect on my initial experience so far. I knew a lot of the tasks would seem tedious and repetitive but I love how organized everything is. At this point, we were sent an email with the next tasks that we could begin to work on. These tasks are flexible to work on in my own time. However, my supervisors would be constantly in communication asking for regular updates. A document was created to track our progress. With multiple tasks to now work on in my own time, it could be easy to lose track of progress. Coming to the end of the week, as an organized person. I have started to plan out exactly how my next week is going to look. Dedicating time to specific dates throughout the week. With my vendor village research complete I have a goal of sending all initial emails out by next week. This will allow me plenty of time to connect any potential leads with my supervisors.
